Okay kids, here is the deal. I am wrapped up in Busy Grown Up Stuff involving My Future and Potential International Travel so I am going to give my brain a break and do something fairly easy: a blogging challenge. Wherein I write a post of ambiguous length every day for thirty days to entertain you all. Won’t this be fun?

Today’s Topic: My Thoughts on Ugg Boots

1). You should wear whatever is comfortable. And damn those boots are comfy. (I’ll take mine in black, please).

2). I used to make fun of people who wear them because the people at UW-Madison who wear (and could afford) Ugg boots were what we called “coasties” and are generally clueless about winter life in Wisconsin.

3). I have since grown up and decided your opinion of a person should be based on much more than appearance and heritage. For instance, I had to do a project with someone I would call a “coastie” once and she did not know what a thesis is which did not earn my respect. Meanwhile, a good friend of mine now is also someone I would call a “coastie” but shares my interest in Welcome to Night Vale and Magnetag.

In conclusion: Uggs are comfortable. Stereotyping is stupid.

Now You! Do you wear Uggs? Why or why not?
